Client's Communication

How to Write Personalized Proposals & Close More Deals (by Aurex)

✍️ Module 1: Understanding the Client's Mindset

Objective: Before writing a proposal, know what the client really wants.

Tips:

  • Read the full job post or message carefully

  • Highlight their pain points

  • Notice any tone or style in their writing (formal, casual, urgent)

Action: Note down:

  • Problem they're facing

  • What result they want

  • Keywords they used (to mirror in your reply)

📃 Module 2: Proposal Structure Template

Structure:

  1. Greeting + Custom Line

    • "Hi [Client Name], I just saw your post and found it interesting."

  2. Show You Understand the Problem

    • "You mentioned that your ad campaigns aren’t converting well. I’ve helped clients in similar situations."

  3. Quick Introduction (1-2 lines only)

    • "I’m a digital marketer with 2+ years of experience in Facebook Ads & SEO."

  4. Brief Action Plan

    • "Here’s what I would do if hired: [mention 2-3 clear actions]"

  5. Call to Action (CTA)

    • "Would you be open to a short call or chat to discuss this further?"

  6. Close politely

    • "Looking forward to working together! - Aurex"

🔎 Module 3: What Makes a Proposal Stand Out

Do This:

  • Add their name (if available)

  • Mention something specific from their post

  • Include ONE short case study or result you’ve had

  • Use simple, confident language

Don’t Do:

  • Use generic copy-paste lines

  • Over-explain your skills

  • Write too long (aim for 150-200 words max)

🚀 Module 4: Bonus Tricks to Win More Clients

  • Add a free suggestion: "I noticed your landing page could improve its headline. I can help."

  • Use a video proposal for Upwork (short Loom video = extra trust)

  • Mention "Available to start immediately" if true

  • Add 2-3 bullet points to break text

✔️ Module 5: Practice Template (Fill-in-the-blank Style)
